Am 03.04. bekommen wir Besuch von unserem Partner Baur au Lac bei uns im Uniturm. Dieses mal mit einem ganz besonderen Tasting: Matthias von Baur au Lac führt uns durch verschiedene Weine und zeigt uns auf, welchen Einfluss der unterschiedliche Holz-Ausbau auf den Wein hat. Wir werden im Direktvergleich erschmecken können, wie sich ein Wein verändert, wenn er im kleinen statt im grossen Holzfass ausgebaut wird oder im Stahltank fermentiert und reift. Absolutes Highlight: Ein Flight mit dem selben Wein – einmal 4, 12 und 15 Monate im Holzfass gereift. Dich erwarte ein super einblickreiches Tasting!
On April 3rd, we will be visited by our partner Baur au Lac at our Uniturm. This time, a very special tasting awaits us: Matthias from Baur au Lac will guide us through various wines and demonstrate the impact that different wood treatments have on the wine. We will be able to observe directly how a wine changes when it is aged in a small oak barrel instead of a large one, or when it is fermented and matured in a stainless steel tank. The absolute highlight: a flight featuring the same wine – aged for 4, 12, and 15 months in an oak barrel. An incredibly insightful tasting awaits you!
